#11: AutoGPT: The GPT-4 project that broke the internet (and Github)
Good morning.
This is The Prompt Engineer - your source of education for prompt engineering, Large Language Models and all GPTs.
Today we have a very cool project for you called…
AutoGPT: The GPT-4 project that broke the internet (and Github)
If you haven't heard, AutoGPT just broke the internet - more specifically, Github - and it's been trending for days.
Look at that hockey stick.
So, what's the deal with this experimental Large Language Model project?
Well, it aims to make GPT-4 autonomous, giving it the ability to make its own decisions. All you need to do is give AutoGPT its purpose and goals, and watch it work its magic.
Whether you need it for coding, marketing, or other tasks, AutoGPT is a general tool that's got you covered. Its flexibility doesn't end there - you can even use it in continuous mode, letting it run forever (or at least until your computer gives up).
What sets AutoGPT apart is
1. its access to the internet,
2. long and short-term memory,
3. popular websites and platforms,
4. and file storage.
Take a look at the demo below.
Latest Demo of Auto-GPT, an open-source experiment to make #GPT4 into a fully autonomous AI🤯🤖
You can now give the AI whatever task you like! 💰
If you would like to give it a try yourself, feel free to check out the GitHub repo in the comments below, it's free! 👇
